great ordinary happenings

I could not make it yesterday, so now to give allowance to myself, if I can’t be here on a Thursday, then maybe on a Friday, or could even be on a Saturday, why not? So as to eliminate the pressure, and so I’d be free to adapt to a day in which I’m not so occupied. Better still, I’d make it: provided it will be twice a week!!! I’d then have no more reason to miss the commitment! So help me God!

This is the first ever picture I’ve placed in this blog (thanks to the “techie brood” again! ) , and I dedicate this to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, today being a First Friday. For Catholics, this is one of the most popular devotions of the Church - attending the Holy Mass and receiving Holy Communion on nine consecutive first Fridays, which Jesus Himself inspired St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, a nun.

Before I began this post, a song just came, which when I realized, I had been softly singing already, a tribute to Jesus: “Majesty, worship His majesty, Unto Jesus be all glory, power and praise!……Jesus Who died, now glorified, King of all Kings! So exult, lift up on high the name of Jesus! Magnify, come glorify, Lord Jesus the King….” Oh, such beautiful wordings! That’s just part, and if you know the song, you’ll agree with me, it’s so soulful, so touching, but still not enough to put into words what is apt for Jesus!!! All glory and praise be to God!!!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us, we place all our trust in YOU!!!
