great ordinary happenings

I’d like to share below the farewell post I wrote yesterday in my previous blog at mom811.wordpress.com, the precursor of this present one here. Here’s wishing you a blessed and happy weekend!

Hi my dear friends, today is already Friday (the 13th ! No jinx please, don’t you believe ). No superstition for those who truly believe in the power of God!!! The 13th has been “redeemed” by our dearest mama Mary by her apparitions in Fatima, which began on the 13th of May, and on the same date of the following months then, ending her visits on the 13th of October. So I say, the 13th is a Marian date!!!

So yesterday was a Thursday, why was there no post here? I have to tell you, I was busy beating the deadline, and sure I did post, but it’s in a different site. It’s still wordpress, still “great ordinary happenings”, all posts here are transferred, but the site is goh.mom811.com.  This is the second transfer, the first courtesy of one of my techie brood, the second cute, the “love cute” – yeah, it’s Cy this time (it was Dy the cute last night) – but this second moving-to-a-new-site was done by techie son Tony. Oh my dears, thanks so much to you, I couldn’t have this blog without you! *kiss*

(* Just an insertion: “The widgets, they are to be placed first”….”What widgets”…And Cy patiently explains, shows, teaches – ahhh the travails – for me! – of high technology! I’m letting you “peep in” to some bits and details of the making of a site of a naive one! But an engineer at that? Well, this makes me easy to be taught, and to absorb maybe, I console myself. )

So please continue to meet me in the above site, as I’ll be updating it with my sharings. On this first day then of the triduum for our Lady of Mt. Carmel (feast day, July 16), Carey’s patron saint and namesake, as I close this site, I say “thank you very much for your visits”!!! Though you may have just been silent, I see you in sitemeter (shhhh ), and it has helped this blog to stride on! You’re very much welcome to drop a comment or send an email: mom811 at wacc dot ph. We can then be friends, and I assure you of a reply! So help me God – as I grope in this blogworld!
