The Pics At Last!!!
Praise the Lord!!! At long last, Cy has obliged to help me with the pics, right from scanning, making them clearer with photoshop, to teaching me how to upload, etc…oh poor daughter of mine, she has to be patient with her mom who has no one to turn to (well, aside from her far-away siblings) in matters like these. Oh cheers! no tinge of sadness, as I get back to this site, for something to thank for! Okay, a hug and a kiss for my second cute!
Thank you so much ta`, for helping me out, for teaching me!
Back to the pics then… so there they are, my loving and most-cherished, long-missed parents. Looking at the pics, memories long-lurking at the innermost part of the mind, of the many sacrifices they had gone through as our family passed from one milestone to another, would begin surging back, and I’d be in awe of God’s wonderful love, which is really the source of the devotion in my parents’ hearts, keeping them, and us all, as one united, happy, and caring family. Though we are now far from each other, a jolly and generous sister even living with her family in far Aloha land, we know that we are united by that bond of close-knit affection and family-shared joys, successes, pains and sorrows, in those times when we were yet growing up together, the practice of which we still carry up to the present. It is there, and it will always be - the legacy passed on by our parents! All glory and thanksgiving are given back to the Lord!
We can click on the thumbnail-sized replica for a fuller view (especially of this black-and-white one, scanned from the original taken 1928 yet!), and better appreciation of the pictures.
