An Impromptu Sunday-at-the-beach

Wow! What a blessing, today that is! It’s with all thanksgiving that I share this with you, my dear friends.

I arrived – again – from Manila (left Bacolod Oct.12) last Thursday early morning. Whew! I went to the airport Wednesday night to be sure I would not miss the 5:15 a.m. schedule. Every time I come home from the capital city, I’d usually do that – taking the first flight, staying overnight at the airport the night before. Avoiding traffic is the main reason, and for this, I’d be willing to sacrifice the convenience of having a full-night slumber.

This being the first weekend since my arrival, Cy was so eager to spend a family day out, and what more appropriate time than Sunday! After attending a morning Mass, we planned to just spend a day at the mall, to have our lunch out just inside the van, and so we packed up our utensils for a “picnic”, with only a cooker-full of rice as our provision. We could buy yummy lechon, some viand, mangoes – that’s all. We then imagined ourselves, that after the meal, we would be taking our nap inside the vehicle under some shady tree in a peaceful, breezy park – could be near the lagoon?

We miss our cute one now in far-away Prague, as we at times would have this kind of enjoyable outing when she was still with us.

(to be continued…oh excuse me, but I have to go…just watch for the pics in the next entry, hopefully this will not be delayed! As you know, dependent me, regarding matters like these!)
