About

Yes! Ordinary can be G R E A T! – a sharing of daily living experiences, thoughts, reflections, stories, which though ordinary as they may be, all point to the unfathomable goodness of the awesome, wonderful God Who is our loving Father! These are stories, personal testimonies or otherwise, most especially on the never-ending goodness of God and His so many blessings, undeserved – some spectacular but most, ordinary and taken for granted. To uplift the soul, mind and being of whoever will give time to read and enjoy, much more reflect on, these sharings is my fervent wish. For these are seemingly ordinary, but great, as they all spring from the love, mercy, and goodness of the Almighty Father. God’s wisdom, be on me, and on you, my dear reader – this is my prayer. 1. I love the title of your blog. I just started reading a new book by Paul Tripp titled “Whiter Than Snow: Meditations on Sin and Mercy”. The book contains 52 meditations on Psalm 51. It is great so far. Your blog title reminded me of a quote from this book.

“You see, you and I don’t live in a series of big, dramatic moments. We don’t careen from big decision to big decision. We all live in an endless series of little moments. The character of a life isn’t set in ten big moments. The character of a life is set in 10,000 little moments of everyday life. It’s the themes of struggles that emerge from those little moments that reveal what’s really going on in our hearts.”

The ordinary happenings are great. They are revealing.

    peace & grace in Christ,

  2. Thanks Brad, for sharing this beautiful quote, he has aptly put to words the bigness of the “little moments” - much more if we can see in them the Hand of our Great God!

Actually, our life is a series of little miracles, do you agree with me? It’s nice of you to have taken time! Also a little miracle, yeah? :)
